Army initiates review following helicopter footage
The US Army has launched an administrative review after musician Kid Rock posted videos showing two AH-64 Apache helicopters flying near his Tennessee residence over the weekend.
Training mission under scrutiny
Army spokesperson Maj. Montrell Russell confirmed the helicopters were on a routine training route in the Nashville area, where Kid Rock's hilltop estate is located. The review will assess whether the flight complied with military regulations and airspace requirements.
"If any violations are identified, appropriate action will be taken," Russell stated.
Kid Rock's social media post sparks attention
The country-rock artist, a prominent supporter of former President Donald Trump, shared the footage on Saturday. In one clip, he stands poolside next to a replica of the Statue of Liberty, clapping and saluting as the helicopters hover nearby before departing.

Another video shows him pumping his fist as a second Apache appears to fly past his estate, which he has nicknamed the "Southern White House."
Political undertones in caption
In the video's caption, Kid Rock directed a profanity at California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat and frequent critic of Trump. The two politicians have been engaged in a long-standing feud.
Army pledges thorough investigation
Maj. Jonathon Bless, a spokesman for the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, confirmed an investigation is underway. "We take all concerns regarding aircraft operations and their impact on the community seriously," he said.
