Three teenagers charged in Apple store theft

Cambridgeshire Police have charged three London teenagers following the theft of 11 mobile phones worth £11,490 from an Apple store in Cambridge.

Incident and arrests

Police were notified by a member of the public on Sunday after the phones were stolen from the Apple shop in the Grand Arcade shopping centre.

Later that day, officers stopped a white BMW on the M11 motorway. A 17-year-old boy from Enfield was arrested and subsequently charged with shop theft and breaching a criminal behaviour order. He was scheduled to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Additional charges

Two 16-year-old boys, also from London, were arrested and charged with shop theft. They were due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court on 4 March.

Police response
