Madonna appeals for return of cherished Coachella costumes
The pop icon has put up a reward after several vintage pieces from her personal collection vanished following her surprise appearance at the California festival last weekend.
Items lost and their significance
Among the missing items are a purple jacket, corset, and dress Madonna wore during her guest performance with Sabrina Carpenter on Friday night. The singer emphasized the sentimental value of the pieces, noting they were also part of her 2004 Coachella set.
"These aren't just clothes, they are part of my history. It's like a full-circle moment, very meaningful for me."

The singer also mentioned that other archive items from the same era are unaccounted for.
Circumstances of the disappearance
According to the Indio Police Department, the clothing and jewelry were last seen on a golf cart at the festival grounds around 1:30 AM local time on Saturday. Authorities stated there is no indication the items were stolen, suggesting they may have fallen off the cart while being transported to a bus.
Performance highlights
Madonna and Carpenter performed duets of Vogue and Like A Prayer during the set. The pop star also debuted a track from her upcoming album, Confessions II, a follow-up to her 2005 hit record Confessions On A Dancefloor. The new album is set for release in July.
Reward offered
Madonna expressed hope that someone would come forward with the missing items, writing on Instagram, "I'm hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team." She confirmed a reward is being offered for their safe return.
