Allegations surface in newly released Epstein documents
A legal letter made public as part of the latest Jeffrey Epstein files claims Prince Andrew and the late convicted sex offender asked an exotic dancer to engage in sexual acts at Epstein's Florida residence in 2006.
Dancer offered $10,000 for performance, letter states
The document, dated March 2011, outlines an alleged encounter involving an unnamed woman hired to dance at Epstein's home. According to her lawyers, she was promised $10,000 but received only $2,000 after refusing sexual advances.
The letter asserts that dancers from West Palm Beach's Rachel's Strip Club were transported to Epstein's mansion, where the woman observed other young women, some reportedly appearing as young as 14.
Prince Andrew and Epstein allegedly requested threesome
The woman's legal team claims she was directed upstairs upon arrival, where Epstein introduced her to Prince Andrew. After performing a striptease, she alleges both men propositioned her for a threesome, insisting they would compensate her later for sexual acts.
"She said she was hired to dance, not to have sex. Mr. Epstein said they would pay her later for dancing, and they prevailed upon her to engage in various sex acts."
Legal letter, March 2011
The letter states she declined an invitation to travel with them to the Virgin Islands and was never paid the full $10,000.
Settlement demand and confidentiality
Her lawyers indicated she had agreed to keep the incident confidential in exchange for a $250,000 payment, though it remains unclear whether the claim was resolved. The woman reportedly did not pursue legal action earlier due to shame over the circumstances, despite working as a dancer.
Prince Andrew denies wrongdoing amid renewed scrutiny
BBC News has reached out to Prince Andrew for comment. He has consistently denied any misconduct, including allegations from Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual assault after claiming she was trafficked by Epstein. In 2022, he settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre for an undisclosed sum.
Newly released photographs from the U.S. Department of Justice files appear to show Prince Andrew in a compromising position with a clothed woman, adding to public pressure for him to address his ties to Epstein.
