Influencer avoids jail time in wildlife case
A Florida court placed Braden Eric Peters, known online as Clavicular, on six months' probation Friday for firing at an alligator during a March livestream in the Everglades.
Plea agreement details
Peters, 20, entered a no-contest plea to unlawfully discharging a firearm at a wildlife sanctuary. Under the terms, the charge will be expunged if he completes firearms and wildlife-safety courses and performs 20 hours of community service that cannot be filmed or monetized.

Attorney Jeffrey Neiman told the BBC that Peters "reached a resolution that appropriately reflects the circumstances." Neiman added, "He is committed to moving forward responsibly and ensuring nothing like this occurs again."

Co-defendants and upcoming hearing
Andrew Morales, known as "The Cuban Tarzan," also pleaded no contest and received a similar probation deal. A third defendant, Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres ("Baby Alien"), is scheduled to enter a plea on 20 May.
Incident background
The case stems from a 26 March livestream in which Peters filmed multiple gunshots fired into swamp water from an airboat in the Everglades Wildlife Management Area, west of Miami.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded the same day, stating it was "aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging at an alligator."
Defense's earlier claims
Neiman previously asserted that Peters was "following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide" and that "no animals or people were harmed" during the incident.
