Chalamet wins best actor, thanks Jenner from stage
Timothée Chalamet secured the best actor award at the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday, using his acceptance speech to publicly thank girlfriend Kylie Jenner and declare his love for her.
The win and the speech
The 30-year-old actor earned the prize for his role in Marty Supreme, a period drama about an ambitious table-tennis player rising to fame in the 1950s. Chalamet appeared visibly nervous as he took the stage, admitting he was more anxious than anticipated.
After thanking fellow nominees, including Sinners star Michael B. Jordan, and director Josh Safdie for creating a relatable story, Chalamet turned his attention to Jenner.
"Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn't do this without you."
Cameras cut to Jenner, who mouthed "I love you" in response. The reality TV star rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
